OmniFocus can help you keep track of important tasks and remember upcoming ones, regardless if they are part of a personal matter or for an important project at work. The application comes with a good selection of tools, which help you focus strictly on specific tasks or projects, allow you to access your To-do lists from any computer and much more.

You may create and manage single tasks in a list or access other sections of the interface, where you can manage your tasks by project or context, view them in a calendar and more. Tasks can be created by simply typing something in an input field. Additionally, you can flag your tasks, mark them as complete, add notes and assign them to a project and to a context.

The application allows you to apply filters and sorting criteria in each section of its interface. Another useful feature is the possibility of focusing on specific projects. All you have to do is select a project and hit the Focus option, located on a toolbar, and the application will notify you of upcoming tasks only for that project.

The entire database can be synchronized with an online server. This gives you the possibility of creating highly secure backups. What's more, you can download and manage your tasks and projects on other computers. You can set the application to synchronize with the Omni Sync Server or with a WebDAV server of your choice.

Pros

You can manage your tasks in a flexible manner. The application allows you to assign them to projects and contexts. All tasks and projects can be uploaded in the cloud, so you can mange them on any computer.

Cons

You can't set up defer or due dates by selecting them on a calendar. With OmniFocus, you can manage your projects and focus on important tasks in a simple and comfortable manner.
